ROUND 1 - CRAIL

Sunday golfers might be put off by horrendous conditions - high winds, driving rain, low temperatures and punishing wet rough - but true professionals really get going when the going gets tough, but the thought of winning the prized trophy, The Man and his Shaft, was more than enough to bring out the true grit in this year's Dudley Open competitors. The first round at Crail Golf Course was a warm-up for some, a challenge for others, and for an unfortunate few a complete disaster.
