Only two points separated Bates, Wilson, Jennings and Harper,
some of the most consistent members of the Dudley Tour. But Smith's
strong first day showing still left him in third place, though
he had been pipped by one point by Robertson, at 41. Having kicked
off with a steady 30 points in round 1, Johnson consolidated his
eclectic score very well and after round 2 sat comfortably at
the top of the leaderboard, on 48 Stableford points
