This exclusive invitation tournament is one of the European circuit's undiscovered gems, and every year draws players keen to win one of golf's top accolades: the highly coveted Dudley Open trophy, a unique figurine entitled "The Man and His Shaft", which was commissioned by the Committee (at considerable expense) from a local Newhaven artist, using only the finest materials such as prime Tasmanian alpha bronze and top-grade imported Sicilian marble.
