We are Ten!

A 10th anniversary bash would seem the ideal opportunity to celebrate in style.

However, time and cost constraints meant the plans to hold this year's Dudley Open as a 10-day tournament in subtropical Florida (already switched from a fortnight in tropical St Lucia due to tornadoes) were shelved in favour of 5 days in the sunny Algarve, before we eventually settled for two and a half days in the more "temperate" climate of the North of Scotland.

But we Scots would have it no other way, for what other nation can boast such fine golf courses, local hospitality and wonderful landscape? Not for us the manufactured contours and pristine fairways leading up to sun-kissed greens manicured to perfection.

 

We like our golf as nature intended it: challenging, unpredictable but breathtaking, amidst the windswept beauty of some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in the world (hands off, Mr Trump!).
The Aberdeenshire coast is home to many fine links courses, and this year we were fortunate to visit three of their finest….
