Friday - Moray Golf Club, Lossiemouth
Andy's score
at the end of the day actually put him in fourth place overnight
(but we've still no idea why the locals kept shouting "Marco - hey Marco"
at him!).
But it was the
other newcomer Brian McClelland who had the privilege of
wearing the overnight leader's shirt.

If you want to relive
the round then the best bits are available here.
More of a fly-on-the-wall type approach this year :
And so with the golf wrapped
up - it was off to The Clubhouse Hotel where we were treated to a level
of luxury that we could have only dreamt of in the early days of the Dudley.
Myself and Brian Jennings
thoughtfully took a detour to the Braeval Hotel where we were to eat
later that night to check it out. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it!).
The diversion gave us a chance to discuss Brian's rather poor performance
that day,
and to come up with a strategy to improve things over the days to come.
