Saturday - Nairn Golf Club
Back in the clubhouse
everyone agreed that it was indeed an excellent course.
And thoroughly enjoyed by all (until the weather broke).
Once the scores for days
1 and 2 were put together, a new leader emerged - Alan Harper.
But it was tight at the top - so everything to play for the following day!

And so it was back to
the hotel for a wash and brush up - and head for the bar to
watch what transpired to be a disappointing game of football between Ireland
and Scotland.
Then out to experience
the night life of Nairn.
An unforgettable visit
to Jacko's Bar and Diner was followed by the main event -
A splendid curry at Al Raj Tandoori restaurant.
Maybe not the most welcoming
of hosts who insisted we all squeeze into a cupboard
while the final preparations to our table were completed.
However the food was actually very good.
My recollection of the
rest of the night was for some reason slightly hazy.
I have a vague recollection of returning through the streets of Nairn to the
shouts of a local
repetitively screaming "Bobo!".
And one of our party answering each and every cry with a replying "Yip!".
And tales emerged the
next day of a long night in the bar sampling not the local whiskies
(of which there are many) but a taste being acquired for some Japanese whisky.
Onwards and Upwards!
