Checking in at our "lively" hotel (we were initially greeted by doormen who seemed to be legless, but they turned out to be guests at a wedding party!) we actually found it be one of the better standards of accommodation we have experienced at the Dudley Open. Down at the dinner table the food was tasty, the entertainment loud, and the atmosphere electric as the players excitedly discussed the prospects for the next two days. A bit of beer, boogie and bed was all that was needed to take us through to the BIG DAY..!
