The usual suspects
battled it out in style, and a fair amount of apprehension. This
year Erdal managed to keep his nose in front and escape humiliation
of a hatrick Diddy. This unexpectedly left Graham to fight it out
with Monaghan in a final count back.
Thanks to a better back nine, he narrowly escaped a terrible fate,
leaving Alan Monaghan (a.k.a. Walter White) to lift the "Top
Shite" trophy for a fourth time. Few players can match that
consistency! Well done Alan!

All
that's left is to extend our very heartfelt thanks to the tournament
organiser, Billy Wilson, for his sterling efforts in staging yet
another fantastic event. It is very much a reflection of his personal
input and the commitment of the players who travel from near and
far that the competition goes from strength to strength each year,
and somehow seems to trump the previous year's tournament time after
time. It has become a fixed event in the calendar that we all look
forward to so much.
Thanks
also to our faithful and tireless "media officer", Brian
Suttie, who follows us around in all weathers and records the highs
and lows of our weekend with such technical skill and a wry sense
of humour. And in case you thought you'd escaped his attention,
think on . . .
