ROUND 1 FRIDAY - CARLISLE GOLF CLUB

Carlisle Golf Club is situated amongst mature trees in gently undulating parkland. The course is par 71 with tree-lined fairways and many memorable holes. An open championship qualifier, many regard Carlisle as one of (if not the) finest inland courses in the North of England.

The course presents a tough challenge to the proficient golfer whilst not being fiendishly difficult for the higher handicappers. As always, good course management rewards the careful and patient golfer, especially on the short but tricky par threes.
